Crysis editor problem?

Hey my friend lent me crysis not crysis warhead i updated the game to the patch 1.2 before i played on it when i tryed to use the editor it just crashes whilst its loading my friend told me he never updated crysis and it worked fine so it must be the 1.2 patch is there any fix for this? i don't want to unistall the game i run xp if that helps and my pc is very capable of running the game thanks

I remember a few others others having the same issue after the 1.2 patch over on the InCrysis forums , didnt seem to get resolved though , as so few were having the issue i dont think the devs bothered trying to fix it.



it seems sandbox only works with 1.1 and below
