I want to update my bios? how?

i want to change my vga memory but in the current bios version i hav

there is no option so i want to update my bios

how do i do it ?

but it increases only the total graphics memory to 880 mb

i want to see wether i can increase

i cannnot play gta 4 or slinter cell conviction properly as the items in it don't load



all other games like crysis , far cry , burnout paradise , avatar , etc work

and how safe is it to update bios
