So will it work? Will it run the games on max settings? Will it be future proof (such as will I be able to run BF3 or Diablo 3 and other games)?

Please be nice! Will this computer be a complete tank?
Yeah should work for all games you mentioned. Might not work for something like metro 2033 but... nothing runs that perfect.... I digress...

Only change I would recommend is that the motherboard you have is good BUT this motherboard Asrock P67 Pro3

is a little more oc friendly. This is especially helpful with the 2500k which is basically made to overclock.
you dont need the soundcard... your motherboard is equiped with 8 channels already and a digital output, so you could do 7.1 surround with just the board. Will this computer be a complete tank?
Builds spec...

hahah your pretty good at picking things aren't you ? lol you forgot to put your Processor. And sure it can run modern games as long as you get a nice processor.

with that kind of GPU lol you can pretty much run any games out there at max settings and yes your GPU is DX11 capableWill this computer be a complete tank?
Yes, it can handle 1080p gay porn with ease.

Don't listen to the person below me; he's an illiterate ******.

My advise is:
1) Try and get a 1600 Mhz Memory instead of 1333.
2) Only buy a sound card if you're an audiophile or a Sound/Music editor.
3) Disregard the H50. Don't be fooled by "Water Cooling". These H50/60/70 are terrible. If you really want a Water Cooling system, get a better one and avoid getting these All-in-one cooling system. I'd recommend a Hyper 212 Plus Heatsink - Considered to be the best value heatsink and it's very well known to get your i5 2500k up to 4.x GHz
4) Disregard the drive -- it's too expensive. Since you're getting the Z68 motherboard, you might want to get an SSD instead with OTHER cheapass 2TB drives rather than the overpriced Caviar Black. Use that cheapass drive specifically for data storage e.g 1080p gay porn, gay furries, etc. If money is an issue, I'd say just go with the SAMSUNG F3 Spinpoint 1TB x2 and get a P67 board instead. Take note that the bigger the HDD is, the more fragile and slower it is.
5) SLi a GTX 560 ti x2. Again, if money is an issue just go with the 570.
6) That PSU is loud as my sister having her period. Get either Antec, Corsair or Seasonic PSU. My recommendation would be the Corsair HX750 (Semi-Modular).

Note: Get the 64-bit OS.
P.S I'm gay
@Lee - reread the question - the asker lists the i5-2500K processor - which is quite nice

@Dustin - the i7-9xx series is now 2 years old. The i5-2500K will outperform that i7-960 by about 10% at stock speeds. The i5 overclocks far better.

I can't see any difference between this question and the one asked yesterday, so the answers are pretty much the same. You'll be fine on BF3/Diablo 3, but there may be something along in 2-3 years that needs an upgrade.
I believe this should last you a while... But me myself would not waste time on the i5..... try the i7-960, but with these types of questions comes people with their own taste. Go with what works for you... but Yes this will indeed run your chosen games on high detail with no problems, I also believe it to be "future proof" for a while. The proper test for this machine will be Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
This is a great build, I would recommend getting a motherboard with 2x pcie x16 / x8 slots for SLI support if you want your system to be futureproof. If you want to stay with Gigabyte, the UD4 is really nice. You'll be able to update it later on with another gtx 570. The RAM is also pretty cheap these days, why not go for some 1600mhz?

By the way Witcher 2 is hard to run with max settings even with a GTX 570, ubersampling is really demanding but you'll be able to run it at max settings without it with decent FPS.

Also since you're investing in a z68 motherboard instead of a P67, why not take advantage of the SSD caching and get a small 64gb ssd, would be nice I believe!
