New Graphics card for Crysis 2?

Hi everyone,

I'm sure you Crysis enthusiasts will be excited (or not) about Crysis 2, and we all know it'll use CryEngine 3.

In order to be prepared for this I'm updated my graphics card and/or computer.

The object of this is to be able to play Crysis and Crysis 2 on Very High Dx10 at 1680x1050 with around 30fps, I currently get 30-35fps on High Dx9 mode on my current PC.

My current rig is such;

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

GFX: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 512MB (PCI E x16)

RAM: 4GB (2x 2GB, one of them is PNY)

Motherboard: (Don't know a lot about them) AGP PCI IBM USB i2c/SMBus

HDD: 2x 360GB (Not important)

I aim to get a card under the £150 mark or over if the card is worth it, but I've only got 24cm long and 6cm wide to work with.

10 points, a thumbs up and my gratitude go to whoever gives me the best/the only response!

Thanks in advance guys!New Graphics card for Crysis 2?
Radeon 5770 pulling it off in the Very high settings is doubtful in my opinion. But for ur budget this or Radeon 5830 seem like the only options. if u have 2 pci ex slots on your motherboard u may get 2 Radeon 4850s for crossfiring purposes. Tho u wont have dx11 in that case, which i think wont matter in the coming 1-1,5 years i thinkNew Graphics card for Crysis 2?
4890 may be out of stock. Why dont u try to find a 4850x2 this is a crossfire on one single pcb. It'll be the best bang for ur buck. This is 2x4850 on 1 single board so u wont need 2 pci ex slots
